Hello all, after a very busy 2011 I needed some time with the family and consequently have been a bit quiet on here for a while.
I'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped or participated in the North Yorkshire Mini events in 2011 and would like to extend an invitation to you all to help make 2012 an even bigger and better year.
The entry forms for the 2012 mini adventure will be available to download from Wed 18th January.
The dates for this years main event, covering the wonderful moorland and coastal area of North Yorkshire are 22nd, 23rd and 24th of June.
After the success of the last two years we have decided that the Vale of Pickering campsite is a superb venue and suits our needs fantastically.
The programme for the weekend consists of the tried and tested formula of
Friday night......mini, mini run out, stopping at a local hostelry for refreshments.
Saturday......Treasure Hunt, this year with a twist,then in the evening we have the Rocker Cover Racing Challenge, can you or your club be this years champion?? The evening continues with our annual charity raffle and live entertainment.
Sunday we have the main event, The 2012 Mini Adventure, taking in the best routes and views that the moorland and coastal region of North Yorkshire has to offer.
A MINI RUN NOT TO BE MISSED.
The charity that we are supporting this year on our events is THE YORKSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE
A fantastic organisation that hopefully you'll never need.
Our other major event this year is a repeat of the Mucky Duck Mini Adventure
The date has been set for the 21st, 22nd 23rd and 24th September.
The event will take place at the same campsite as last year, The Golden Square, Helmsley.
Further details and entry forms will be available in June at the North Yorkshire Mini Adventure.
Everyone is always welcome at our events and any help offered is always gratefully appreciated so please don't be shy, get involved and lets keep mini events going strong in the North.
